 こんにちわ みなさん! わたし わ べんとが すきです! One of my hobbies is cooking! So when my family visited Japan this summer, we did a bento box-making class! It was a lot of fun to cook, shape, and decorate the meal in cute ways. I made a bear-themed bento, my sister made a frog, and my mother made a panda! The instructor informed us that the history behind bento boxes is that mothers used them to show love and affection towards their kids, and to help them eat healthier foods by making them look cute!  I hope to be able to make cute bento boxes like these at home and make it a little tradition to give to family and friends.    Please enjoy the photos I have attached below, and if you have any questions, please ask!  こにちわ みなさん! わたし は おんがくが すきです! Yoasobi の おんがく は すき です. まいにち の くじ わたし りょ に いきます. わたし は へや で おんがくを ききます.  I really enjoy this singer! I have been her fan for a few years now, and I love her style! Her voice is so captivating. She has a unique style of music, and her songs are always full of so much emotion. Her upbeat and catchy melodies can follow you throughout the day and be the perfect songs to listen to while working out or doing household chores.  My favorite songs of hers include:  夜に駆ける,  ハルカ, たぶん,  ハルジオン, and Idol.  Let me know what you guys think of her songs :)

こにちわ! わたしは あざらしが すき です. あざらし は かわいい です.  あざらしはさかながすきです.  あざらし の しゅっしん は Hokkaido の Mombetsu です. みなさん, みてください!  あざらし は はずかし です. 

こんにちは!  わたし  は Higgins  です!  わたし は にねんせい です! Amerika じん  です! わたし の せんこう は せいぶつがく です!  I am excited that I can introduce myself in Japanese more confidently now!       This weekend I watched "The Apothecary Diaries"  (Japanese name: 薬屋のひとりごと) with a few friends. This show follows Maomao, who worked as an apothecary before being kidnapped to serve as a maid in the Emperor's palace. Maomao originally tries to keep a low profile and fulfill her contracted time, yet after a while, she decides to use her poison knowledge to help cure others.       Although this show is based in China, the production company is Japanese, and the voice actors speak in Japanese as well. I found it particularly helpful to hear fluid Japanese being spoken in a natural state, and to try to keep up. Although there were many words that I did not know due to the medical nature of the show, I still found it entertaining and educational to watch....

  こんにちは! I am very excited to be learning Japanese! I am interested in this language because of Japanese culture, food, being able to communicate with more people, and cute animals in the region! Some of my favorite foods are  たこ焼き and  すし (takoyaki and sushi). I also really love doing karaoke with my sister! My sister, mother, and I recently visited Japan this past May, and we had so much fun in the karaoke rooms! Yet, one of my favorite aspects of Japan is   あざらし !!! They are my favorite animals, and there is a famous seal conservatory in Mombetsu, Hokkaido! Some celebrities there are Yo-chan, Ponsuke, Tsuki, Agu, Katsunori, and more. These  あざらし perform many cute tricks and have unique personalities of their own. I adore animals and aspire to pursue a career in caring for them. I hope to one day visit! Please ask me any questions about Tokkari ( とっかり)   center-- I know some silly fun facts. Attached below are some photos!
