あきやすみ shows!

This fall break I decided to rewatch one of my favorite shows-- Attack on Titan. I had a few friends from Notre Dame come home with me for fall break to show them around New York City. Yet, at night we decided to watch something together to unwind. One show we had in common that we loved was Attack on Titan, or "進撃の巨人". This show follows the main character, Eren Yeager, and his friends as he tries to navigate a world with giant, man-eating monsters, or Titans. Human civilization exists within one city with large walls keeping the titans out. After the death of his mother due to titans, Eren joins the Survey Corps, whose job is to go outside of the city walls and destroy these titans. Although some scenes in this show are very explicit, it has a lot of deeper meanings and showcases many complicated emotions such as sacrifice, duty, and loyalty.
